Custom Cedar Log Home - Austria
This handcrafted log home is located near Villach, Austria. We built seven 50 centimeter (20 inch) posts to support an all-glass front on the house. We tapered our flat cut on each side of the posts to keep the shape of the trees. The house is designed with log rafters for visual appeal and to carry the weight of the roof. To increase the energy efficiency of the home, we installed sheep's wool and foam gasketing.
