Timber Frame Home, British Columbia, Canada

We are currently cutting the timber frame for this 3,706 sq ft home.  Our clients will enjoy their retreat home in Pemberton, British Columbia.  Designed by Rommell Design Ltd, we were asked to retrofit the home with timbers.  We have used a mix of kiln-dried and green, free-of-heart, Douglas fir timbers.  The more expensive kiln-dried materials will be located inside the home to reduce checking and gapping.
