Handcrafted Canadian Pine Log Home, Colorado, USA

We constructed this house using the ever-popular standing-dead Canadian pine.  This wood has an abundance of character.  Streaks of blue and interesting log shapes and sizes create log walls and beams that constantly draw you in for a closer look.  

Living in a house like this is like living in something made by nature herself.  The feeling is warm and calming.  Of course, we like to think we had something to do with it.....since it takes a lot of skill to fit these logs together into a showpiece such as this.
