This handcrafted log home is designed to feature the best of log home living in Colorado. We are alternating the tops and bottoms of massive Western Red Cedar logs along the walls to create corners with wild fluted butts. Feature posts in the front entryway and ridge post will rise from the floor to support the roof beams. Hand tools are being used to add character to square beams and corners. The owner and our dealer in Colorado, Jeremiah Johnson Log Homes is building the home to meet LEED certification. The LEED Green Building Rating System is a nationally recognized standard for the design and construction of green homes. The home is also under review for Energy Star certification and NAHB's Green Building Program.
