Douglas Fir 25 Room Log Home Lodge in Lithuania
This log home lodge designed by Murray Arnott is located in Lithuania. The building is 150 feet (24 meters) by 58 ft (18 meters) and contains 25 rooms plus a third story for offices. The Douglas fir logs have been dried in a vacuum kiln to 18% moisture content. The lower floor is piece-en-piece construction to address settling issues. The upper level is a separate handscribed log home with notched corners. This project was built in collaboration with Coyote Log Homes. Filippo Pierini is our Project Lead on this building.
