Designing For You
Brian Moore Log Homes has been building hand cut Timber Frame Homes for over 10 years. Using our experience, we create timber frame plans that integrate traditional timber framing construction with modern construction materials and methods.
We can help you create a complete or hybrid frame structure. There are limitless design choices. In a hybrid frame, one can locate timbers in high traffic areas like the entry, kitchen or great room.
We can add or remove timbers or adjust the “footprint” (square footage) of timber frame floor plans to best meet your spending plan and needs.
We hope our timber frame floor plans show you how we can mix stone and wood or round and square timber frame (4-sided) logs depending on your preferences.
In creating a unique home, we keep in mind the natural unique qualities of the Douglas fir and red cedar logs to support the theme using a variety of surface finishes and textures.
LEED Certified Timber Frame Homes
If you plan to build a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified timber frame home, we can provide an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) timber frame for additional points.
